General
homework rules
|
|
|
|
|
| |
To receive the
highest grade possible on your homework, please read and
follow the rules listed below: |
|
|
|
|
| |
- Always write using ink
(black is best, blue is also acceptable). Neatness
counts, print or write clearly if you want better than a
"C". Typing is always preferred.
- Homework must be complete
(leave no blank spaces). There is no partial credit
for incomplete work. If you need help with questions
you don't understand, see me during tutorial.
- Answers must always be in
written complete sentences (never start a sentence
with "it", "because" or
"they"). If you follow this rule, it is
unnecessary to write out the question.
- Nothing should be scribbled
out (use "whiteout" if necessary) and no doodling allowed on
your paper.
- Always put your full name,
period and date in the upper right corner.
- Be prompt, turn your work in
on time. Late papers are not accepted except in the
case of a cleared absence. Click
here for an explanation of when your paper
would be due. Assignments are posted on-line in
advance so there is really no excuse for late work.
- You are expected to print
out copies of study guides and worksheets. Using
technology is part of the assignment and hand written copies
receive a slightly lower grade. The
dhsworldhistory web site is
accessible from home, the school library or any computer on campus
and in most foreign countries 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
If this is a problem, see me and together we will find a
solution.
